Abstract: The impact of financial literacy programs on adults in urban areas is an essential area of research, particularly in economically vibrant cities. This study examined the influence of financial literacy programs on adults in Abuja, Nigeria. The objectives were to assess the programs' effectiveness in enhancing financial knowledge, to evaluate changes in financial behaviors, and to measure improvements in financial stability. A survey research design was chosen to collect detailed data on participants' financial literacy and behaviors. The sample size comprised 200 adults, selected through purposive sampling to ensure they had participated in financial literacy programs. The case study was focused on multiple financial education centers in Abuja, recognized for their comprehensive literacy programs. Findings showed that financial literacy programs significantly increased financial knowledge, encouraged better financial management practices, and improved financial stability among participants. Recommendations included increasing the accessibility of financial literacy programs, integrating them into community development plans, and promoting ongoing financial education.
